General Info

If you’re looking for a laid-back spot to enjoy authentic Mexican flavors, Los Comales is one of those places that feels welcoming from the moment you walk in. The atmosphere is casual yet lively, making it a comfortable choice whether you’re stopping by for a quick lunch or meeting up with a group of friends.

What stood out to me right away was how approachable the menu is. It’s packed with familiar Mexican staples, but each dish feels thoughtfully prepared. The steak tacos are a must-try-simple, flavorful, and satisfying without being heavy. If you’re feeling a bit more adventurous, the tacos de lengua (beef tongue) offer a rich, tender bite that’s surprisingly smooth and well-seasoned. On another visit, I went for the chicken fajitas, and they arrived sizzling hot, with that classic aroma that instantly makes you hungry.

The variety doesn’t stop there. Their nachos are generous and perfect for sharing, especially if you’re visiting with a group. Meanwhile, the tostadas bring a nice crunch and balance to the table, adding texture to your meal. It’s the kind of menu where you can come back multiple times and still find something new to enjoy.

In terms of service, Los Comales keeps things relaxed but attentive. Table service is consistent, and the staff makes sure you’re taken care of without hovering too much. It’s also worth noting that the restaurant is accessible, with a wheelchair-accessible entrance, which makes it more inclusive for different guests. Whether you’re dining solo or with a larger group, the setup works well.

Lunch here feels especially convenient. The pace is quick enough if you’re on a schedule, but you never feel rushed out. And if you’ve got a sweet tooth, don’t skip dessert-it’s a nice way to round out the experience after a savory meal.

Overall, the experience at this location reflects what many diners look for in a neighborhood restaurant: a reliable menu, welcoming service, and a space where you can relax and enjoy good food. It’s easy to see why reviews often highlight both the consistency and the comfort factor here.

What customers say?

“ We don't come here to shop, we come to eat! The taqueria inside this place is amazing! The food is consistently delicious. The street tacos are so good, my son and I usually get asada(steak) and lengua(beef tongue). My husband and mom like the fajitas. Service is simple but always a pleasure. I came in with my own tortillas (a necessity not a want) and they offered to take them and fill them for me and were completely understanding when I told them I have allergies. We have not had a bad meal here ever! Love, love, love it here. ”

“ My husband and I love to eat here! We order the Tamales (on the weekends, wrapped in a banana leaf) and Mexican pork and pineapple tacos and the steak tacos on corn tortillas, with cilantro, onions and lime. The green salsa is my favorite. We are looking forward to eating there tonight! ”

“ the host was nice, she was busy but kept checking in so i didn’t mind waiting. the pollo tacos absolutely delicious and the presentation was super pretty! ”

“ The BEST tacos I have ever had! I like the steak and el pastor the best. The homemade tortillas are awesome and they have extremely friendly service! The salsas are to die for too. ”

“ I visited here for the first time today. I got steak tacos which were very good and well seasoned. Also got a steak burrito but didn't like the lettuce in it. It was brown by the time I got home. Overall the staff was friendly and the food was good. I would come back just to try other stuff on the menu ”

“ New name - not updated on Google - Rincon Mexico!! Been a long time since I’ve had good Mexican food since I left California. This place is legit! Carnitas burrito is probably the best I’ve had. Steak as well. And if you like heat ask for the spicy garlic hot sauce. So good but that heat creeps up on you! For those of you worried about the Tex Mex comment from another reviewer - I can absolutely guarantee you it’s not! Thank God for the small things but if I found a corn kernel in my salsa I would have left everything uneaten at the table. ”

- Brad Mandala -

“ Quite possibly the best street tacos I have ever had. You absolutely cannot go wrong with the beef tongue (trust me), and the staff treats you like you are family. Their small grocery store feels like stepping back in time. This is a fantastic local small business- support local! ”

- Travis Wells -

“ Very good authentic Mexican food! The burrito is the best so flavorful and juicy. My husband had the tamales which he said tasted like the ones he had in Mexico. The tacos were a little dry but once you put some of the homemade salsa on it made it much better! Will definitely be going back they have a huge menu in Spanish and English. Go try it you won't be disappointed! ”
